Evaluation Q.7

In this part of my evaluation, I had to look back at my preliminary task which is something I created before making my final product, and reflect back on what I have learnt during the progression of this course. I learnt lots of new skills during the process and from doing the preliminary task as well, such as how to generally set out magazine pages, use fonts, colours and effects effectively etc. Powered by emaze

Evaluation Q.4

The question for this part of my evaluation was 'who would be the audience for your media product', I had to take into consideration classifications, age, gender, ethnicity and preferences. In doing this i realised how much I took my own target audience into consideration when producing the magazine which is good as it is who i wanted to attract and then appeal to, but this meant that other parts of society were under represent throughout my magazine.

Evaluation Q.2

In this part of my evaluation, I had to evaluate how my media product represents social groups in particular. From doing this, I can see how much my product appeals to my target audience, but lacks representation of other social groups such as race, races, ages, genders, class, styles etc.

Evaluation Q.1

In this first part of my evaluation, I will be comparing my own media product to a real media product and seeing how it uses, develops and challenges the forms and conventions of a real media product. From doing this task, my magazine does follow typical conventions of pop music magazines and doesn't particularly challenge any typical conventions dramatically.
